What we do to help decrease risks

 

Risk: Inhalation of dust and poisonous paint fumes.
How we decrease the risk: We lay out dust sheets to catch as much dust and paint as possible, open as many windows as possible and wear respirator masks when needed.

 

Risk: When working on a shop front where the paths are constantly busy, working with ladders may cause danger to both employees and the public.

How we decrease the risk: When works are to be carried out on shop fronts we try to work as late as possible so that there is a decreased amount of people using the pathways.

Risk: When working at heights the risk of falling off a ladder.

How we decrease the risk: When working at heights we always ensure the correct equipment is being used correctly, when working with ladders we ensure they are secured tightly before any work is carried out. When working on scaffolding we always ensure the scaffolding has been put up correctly before any work is carried out.
